Do you ever feel your baby multiple times in a row?
This happens sometimes where I'll feel several movements in a row (I'll feel the baby 3-5 times in a row). Has this happened to you girls? What is it? Is it actually hiccups I'm feeling?

Re: Do you ever feel your baby multiple times in a row?
I've felt the baby move around a bunch in a row... like he's trying to get comfortable or something. I'm pretty sure when the movements are in the same spot, at a pretty set interval, those are the hiccups.
Have you had your glucose test yet? Just wait for that! The baby will go nuts for an hour!

Hiccups usually last a few minutes and it is almost like havng a twitch in your eye (only in one spot in your stomach).

I've felt it too...like VirginiaDeb said, I feel like he's adjusting his position or something...I'm starting to feel finer movements too....the other day I could swear I felt a body part drag across my stomach.

Re: Do you ever feel your baby multiple times in a row?
My DS isn't the biggest mover, but I notice he has patterns...like he'll be quiet for a few hours, and then for an hour he'll be moving around alot. Like all of a sudden I feel him start moving his feet for a few minutes...and then it'll be his hands..
I love the feeling, I wish he did it more!

mine moves ALL the time multiple times, it's like he's kicking, punching for a fast cardio interval. . I literally almost never feel just one movement at a time

Re: Do you ever feel your baby multiple times in a row?
yep but i dont think its hiccups. when my DD used to get hiccups, my whole stomach would jump & they would last for a long time. With this, i just feel her kick and move in one spot a few times, like 6-7 times in a row.

Yep, I'll feel a few kicks in a row or some crazy movement for like 30 seconds, and then its over. Hiccups are more rhythmic and they last for a few minutes or more. I've felt them a couple of times so far.

Re: Do you ever feel your baby multiple times in a row?
no, the hiccups are more of a steady pulse kind of feeling. You'll know when you feel it. Usually baby will move kind of sporatically (even several times in a row) but the hiccups are more constant. Hard to explain, but I defintely knew when I felt it!! That started for me about a week or 2 ago (somewhere around wk 28/29)
