Do you ever read the comments section on Newsday.com?
The people who post there...... I just have no words for the majority of them, they are disgusting.
For example - comments about an article about a teenager fatally shot in Astoria.
What is wrong with people???

I'm surprised any of these people know how to read, let alone use a computer.

Yeah, I've read that a few times - I can't usually take more then one or two before I feel my blood pressure rise.
So not worth it!!
I wonder sometimes if it's just people writing to get a rise out of others.

I always say that. A 3 year old could have died and some crazies will come on and say the most horiffic things about how the child deserved it, etc. No exaggeration here.
It sickens me, but these people are sick and are looking for shock value. And sadly no one ignores them and they win every time.

people can be totally disgusting. My brother's best friend since childhood was killed in a plane crash in April. The comments section to the local paper (south florida) on the article were downright disgusting. You'd think people would have more compassion.

Apparently that's what people do when they've got nothing else better going on in their lives.
I couldn't help but notice the person whose sn is "Brentwood" is from Plainview, W T F??? And then that one person said "Figures someone from Brentwood....", people need to learn how to READ!!!!!

I believe that the location sometimes just picks up where you currently are. So you may live in Plainview, but it might say other if you are posting from another computer.
I just heard this...I don't know.

I think that the location is where the IP address of the poster is located.
