Do you ever think that your DC is acting "different" than usual...what is this?
DS will be 5 months Friday.
He took longer to fall asleep than usual last night, but woke up fairly normal. I dropped him off at the sitter, and all seemed ok...
I came home, and for some reason, he just seemed "different"...sitter told DH, he was kind of on the cranky side (for him) not smilling and laughing as much he does, is what she said. But not crying or anything. Now, I got home at 6 (early today..lol) and he ate his dinner, had bath, and them we were playing, but again, he wasn't as vocal....giggling, etc...
now he fell asleep already, whereas he has never fallen asleep before 9ish....
what could this be? he just seems very out of character...maybe he just was tired??? I just hope he is not sick...
ETA: This morning, I dropped him off, and his eye was red..not the eyeball, but the skin around his eye....allergic reaction? Don't know what to do....he is happy, not crying....

He could be coming down with something. Is he at a daycare center where they have to document everything or in a home based center? Are there any other children who are sick? Is it possible that your provider gave him something to eat that he should not have had? Or that maybe he (god forbid) got hurt at all?
I am sorry to be an alarmist, but I like to cover all bases

DS has those once in a while. Doesn't last too long. Check his temp and see if and when he had his last BM.
Anything can change their mood. Heck, we're like that so why can't babies...
could be getting sick feeling tired teething growth spurt
