Do you feel guilty when DC has to stay home from Pre School sick?
Andrew has been really really sick since Sat. I decided to keep him home from pre school today and probably thursday too so he can get totally better. Especially since the baby could really come at any time now.
But I feel sooo guilty about it. Like he is missing out on something super important. And missing out on playing with all his little friends

No, don't feel guilty. And all the parents will thank you for not sending your child in sick! I haven't had to keep Andrew home yet, but his class always seems half full anyway!

Nope, would not feel guilty. I prefer other parents not to send their children in sick either if they can help it.

I agree, Julia is home sick today, nothing to bad just a little cold, but I would never send her to school that way, and I hate it when other mom's send there kids in and there coughing up a lung and sneezing....

I def would never send him in like this but I just feel like he is missing out on something.
But really I have to get over it So he misses out on coloring for 2 days. I don't think it will ruin him for life

From a teacher's prespective, don't feel guilty and everyone who is at that school would thank you (students' parents and teachers as well) Not worth getting everyone else sick

Not at all. If DD is sick, I want her home.

Not at all! I think a sick kid probably is better off just resting and chilling out at home anyway, in addition to not getting all the other kiddos sick.
I wish more people would do that at my DS's school!

Nope. I'd feel worse if another kid or teacher got sick from my kid.
Sarah had pink eye 6 times last year because there were 2 moms in her class that sent their kids in sick. They told me that they weren't changing their plans around b/c the kid was sick.
