Do you find that you tend to compliment someone's outfit even if they're wearing something that you don't like?
For instance, a woman in my office is wearing the most hideous blouse I've ever seen, but I couldn't help but compliment her on it.
I'm not doing this to be mean or condescending, but I just can't help it. Is anyone else like this?

No - if I don't like something, I don't say anything.
Just like on here if someone posts something to get opinions and I don't like it, I don't respond unless they are looking for honest opinions.

Second...I would just not say anything if I didn't like it.
Reminds me of the scene from mean girls with the "vintage" skirt.

i can't say that i have ever done that. even if someone compliments me and i feel obligated to say something back. if i have nothing nice to say, i say nothing at all.

I sometimes do -- it could be something totally not my taste but they manage to pull it off so I'll say something nice.

I do this
Sometimes, if something catches my attention so I do a double-take and then I realize it is HIDEOUS I will still compliment them on it because it is obvious that I was looking!
