Spinoff to coming home outfit...what are YOU wearing home?
I know we are usually concerned with a coming home outfit for the baby, but what are the mommies planning on wearing home from the hospital?
I don't know why but I don't want to just wear sweats. I feel like I want to wear something casual but neat.

I am bringing my maternity jeans and maternity yoga pants. I want to go super big, incase of c-section, the incision and all that. Plus I am dreading wearing a pad again.

i wore gaucho pants and a tank with cute flip flops. It was so comfy. In your case I would bring two outfits, one neat and casual and one set of sweats. Then when its time to go home you can decide which one your going to be more comfortable in.

I know it may be the last thing I care about, and may come home in pj's but I am not sure fi we will take pics on the front porch and such.

thats what i am going with. i figure that i will be uncomfy still at that point and the thought of jeans makes me think that i may be in a little bit of pain because they are more fitted...

I came home when it was quite warm (9/11/05), so I had on maternity black yoga pants, maternity "polo" v-neck, and flip flops.
I'll probably wear something in a similar vein this time too.

I think I had on the exact same outfit! It's all about comfort at that point IMO.

I wore a velour sweatsuit home. You are going to feel uncomfortable so you want to be dressed as comfy as possible.

i wore maternity gaucho pants, pink v- neck long sleeve maternity shirt and i intended on wearing my uggs but my feet were so swollen they didn't fit. DH had to bring me flip flops. I was freezing!!!

With Emma I wore a sun dress (June baby)
With Jeremy I wore yoga pants, long sleeved shirt (non maternity but big) January baby
This baby I will probably wear sweats again. I don't care about pics. I don't care who sees me. I will have had my guts on my stomach and major surgery. They are lucky I don't wear the hospital gown home

Sweats all the way! The way I look at it, I will be totally sleep-deprived, probably wearing a pad the size of a pillow, have no makeup on, my hair in a knotty bun, and having to deal with probably 20 degree weather outside in the middle of February. The last thing I will be wearing is something nice or even khakis or jeans. The comfier the better.
