do you give a drink with solids?
with lo's on baby food...
i always offer a sippy cup with solids and ds usually drinks 1-3 oz. with his 2 meals but since he's also being nursed 5 times, i wonder if he needs it.
what do you guys do?

My ped. told me food and bottles should be given together to establish their eating habits b/c that is how we eat.

thanks crissy! i heard that too but ds won't take much from both. i guess in time he'll start drinking more with food.

Yes, I used to give him formula or water in the sippy with his baby food. I didn't want him to think that the sippy was only for juice or water. Now, he will drink milk out of the sippy with no problem.

I give him his bottles right after his meals. We are starting to wean him off of the bottles and we give him his sippy cup with water with his meals.
