We've been giving Abby vitamins via dropper for a long time since she is such a lousy eater. Its called Tri-Vitamin.

ds is 3.
he takes the multivitamin prescription one from our ped. couldn't get him to take the gummies or flinstones.

My DD who is 5 has been taking vitamins since one. Just a multivitamin. First gummies and now Flintstones. We've also added Vitamin D and I'm trying to find a probiotic she will take. My 2 year old won't take any. I've tried them all.

Yes 2 years - poly vi (dropper), when it's finished my ped gave me a script for a chewable.

at 6 months, DD gets the liquid. with flouride.
DD (3) gets the chewables (same as the liquid, just chewable)

YES!! AAP recommends Vit D at birth for all breastfed babies, and for formula feeders not taking 34oz of formula (unless on newborn product). And multivit w/flouride at 6m.
Started D Vi Sol at birth with DD, now on poly w/flouride
Son is 2 on chewable poly w/flouride

Yes definitely - even if they eat well they really still need one.
DD#1 - 3.4 - she gets a chewable one her ped prescribed.
DD#2 16.5 months - liquid her ped gives her
Both get fluoride.

Yes, he has been taking them since 2 months old. He started on Tri-Vi-Sol, and at 6 months, the ped gave us a prescription for fluoride vitamins, which he's been on ever since.

DD has taken the prescription vitamins since 6 mths old....she is 4.5 and still takes them. (just chewables now of course)

DD and DS take the gummy vitamins...over the counter
They are 3 and 4.

Poly-vi-flor with iron in a dropper.
It smells and tastes nasty. I feel bad giving it to DS, but he takes it willingly (for now).

My DD is 2 month old and at her first ped visit days after she was born, the ped told me to giver her Trivisol with iron. I know every baby is different but it was horrible and made her VERY constipated. I stopped giving it to her a few weeks ago and the constipation went away. I think it was too much iron for her system to handle. At the next visit I'm going to ask the ped if I can give her just normal Trivisol or if she really needs it at all. The formula I'm giving her already contains iron and vitamins so I don't know what the necessity of it is...
