Do you give your baby anything with pancakes/french toast/waffles?
I made DS banana pancakes last week, he liked them. I just gave it to him plain bc I thought the banana would be enough flavor. Tomorrow I'm going to make him french toast. Do they just eat it plain? He will probably love it, he likes plain bread anyway, but Im just wondering if there anything with more flavor. Not syrup or anything, but Idk what else, wdyt? What about waffles too?

I usually just give them plain but sometimes I put butter on them. I want to get some kind of organic no sugar added preserves or something and give them that. Maybe cream cheese?
ETA this morning they had "carrot cake" pancakes (with grated carrot, nutmeg, ginger and cinnamon) and they went nuts.

Pumpkin butter, apple butter, honey, jam, fruit puree, or applesauce.

We made the mistake of giving DD#1 syrup once and it's been downhill ever since. She'll actually POINT to missed spots and say, "I want syrup here. and here. And here and here...."
My advice- DON'T give syrup.

Santa Cruz makes organic apples sauce w/o sugar. You can get it at S&S.

Pancakes - apple sauce or if I put fruit in them then no sauce.
Waffles - hummus.

I have always given them syrup I just get the low sugar one (no artificial sweetner) and don't use too much.
I have also cut up strawberries and put a little sugar with them to make like a syrup.

Same here. Even now at almost 2 and 3 they dunk their french toast /waffles into applesauce.
