Do you give your Cats Heartworm Meds?
Teemu gets his every month and i noticed on the pack that it can also be used for cats. My vet never mentioned this (I am going to ask him next week), and I was wondering if you all give your cats heartworm meds?

no, we don't. alfie is strictly an indoor cat and he gets his shots every year. the vet never mentioned this to me.

Agreed - Murphy is striclty an indoor cat. I keep him inside specifically to keep him away from all the pests he can get outside.

You can give them to your cat if you want but its really not necessary especially if you have an indoor cat. They can get heartworm but its so rare in cats theres really no reason to give it every month.
