Do you give your DC anything OTC for seasonal allergies?
I think this may be contributing to him not sleeping well at night. The past few weeks he is stuffy and his nose is running, probably from the spring allergies.
What helps your DC?

Childrens Claritin Chewables, or Liquid. Takes about 1/2 hour to kick in , but does the trick for my son.

Do you give it at night or during the day? If it is something that will make him drowsy I want to make sure to only give it at night.

I get an all natural it is called D-Hist. I get it from one of Christopher's dr.'s. I am not a big fan of any of the OTC ones.

I just started giving DD Claritin in the morning, and a dose of benadryl at night, as per my ped. It seems to be helping.

My ped recommends Claritin over Zyrtec because they find Zyrtec to have more side effects such as hyperactivity. DS takes Claritin, although we ran out and tried Allegra and have been happy with that too.
