Do you guys think he was looking for running sneakers or cross trainers?
I was in the Roosevelt Field mall today and saw this dog being carted around his own stroller.
I of course had to snap a pic for LIF.
Is it worthy if I say he was more well behaved than most crotch dumplings in strollers?

Waste of money- dogs are meant to be walked, not pushed around like a babydoll...ew ew ew

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!
The fact that you took a pic, just completely made my day!
I do have to say that this may be the most sanitary way to carry the dog around. As an allergic person, I can't really complain AS MUCH about this one.

Re: Do you guys think he was looking for running sneakers or cross trainers?
I was there today, too. I thought maybe we had seen the same dog in the same stroller but. no. I saw a totally different dog in a totally different dog stroller at the same mall . The stroller was pink and it was more square shaped.
I do know some "dachshund people" who swear by dog strollers for outdoors. For every step we take, a dachshund has to take 4 or 5 and if they are old or have back problems, they can tire easily. I think that the people I know use them for outdoor walks. It's a great thing to do if a dog is recovering from surgery and you want him/her to get some fresh air.

oh lord.... now we're even going to have a nationwide epidemic of obesity amongst our animals, too!
I still think a doggie stroller is the stupidest thing ever. It's like taking a bird for a ride on a kite. Stupid.

Awww...that's adorable.
I once saw a dog in a stroller on the Sunken Meadow boardwalk. I stopped to talk to the owner and they said the dogs back legs were paralyzed but he still enjoyed going for walks. And the stroller was only way to get him out.
So not all dogs are being lazy.

Re: Do you guys think he was looking for running sneakers or cross trainers?
i love it!
and i agree about different reasons for having a dog stroller
we have one and love it...my dogs are classified as "unathletic" so although they do go on walks..they can't go too far--maybe just around the block! so when dh and i want to go for a longer walk we put them in their stroller and they absolutely love it...their heads hang out the front--it's soo cute and we get to spend more time with them -
they are great for older dogs/dogs with hip problems/etc...

Same here...of course we take our dogs for regular walks, but if we want to go far or go walking with other ppl who have much bigger dogs that walk faster, the stroller allows us to bring our dogs too.

In FL last week, my aunt & uncle were in a casino! They saw someone pushing a stroller. They I kid you not, when, they tell me it wasn't a baby, but, it was a DOG! Yep. A dog in a casino! Lovely! Just lovely!
