Do you hand wash your sweaters. . .
that say hand wash only?
I hate to hand wash--it makes such a mess & they take so long to dry. I realize I am avoid wearing several sweaters because of this.
Is there any other way?
Dry clean? Delicate cycle? Some of them are just cotton, but they run.

I use a delicate cycle but then I lay it out to air dry.. i won't chance it and put it in the dryer.. i did that once and it looked like something that would fit a barbie doll lol

I dry clean all of my sweaters that I will wear to work. It keeps it fresh and nice looking otherwise if I put them in the wash they would look like crap.

i throw them in the delicate cycle with my bras etc and hang dry them in the laundry room - they are usually dry within a day or two

I typically hand wash them. I hate doing it because like you said they take forever to dry. If I am going to the dry cleaner, sometimes I will bring them there.

I wash them in gentle cycle and lay them flat to dry. Usually takes a day. Then I throw them in the dryer for 5 minutes for a quick tumble.

some sweaters i will take to the dry cleaners, but i try to avoid the dry cleaners if i can, they are soo $

I have a handwash cycle on my washing machine. I just did three sweaters on that last week and they came out great.

exactly this. my washer has a 'hand wash' cycle that i use for sweaters and then just put them on a rack to dry. i usually fluff them in the dryer after that so they're soft
i think i only have a few sweaters i bring to the dry cleaner (nicer ones)

If it says dry clean only, I dry clean them. If not I use the wool wash on my washing machine.
