Do you have a humidifier in babies room?
Which one do you have? I have a Holmes cool mist the water is on the side and a fan on the top and it sounds like it is going to take off any minute..Are they all like that? It is very loud.

That is the same one that we have in DD's room. We had another one for a few months, but it broke. This one seems to be better. They were both loud, but to be honest, it drowns out the sounds from us around the house...tv, music, emptying dishwasher, etc, so I like it.

We have a Vicks Cool Mist with water on te side and a fan on top. If I run it on high it makes the room way too humid and it is a bit loud. I run it on medium and the room is usually around 55% humidity and it's a soft white noise.

True air. Its quiet.
A mom on her recommended the Vicks thermometer.. it tells you if you need to put humidifier on or not.. I love this b/c now I pack away the humidifier and only take out when I need too!! Which is great b/c my dd would constantly try and touch it and had to worry she would get hurt.

We have a Vicks Cool Mist. It gets a little loud if we put it on a medium setting, so we usually keep it low. We only use it when DS is congested though.

We have the same one. DD needs it as a noise maker 2 years later still!
