do you have a song that reminds you of your child?
On that first night we had DS home from the hospital, DH and I were watching Family Ties reruns on HUB. The theme song came on and we just started singing it to DS, and now, 21 months later, that has become sort of our family theme song.  DS still loves it when we sing it to him, and whnever we are watching Family Ties on netflix, he goes crazy when the opening credits begin. I also love Lullabye by the Dixie Chicks. What are your songs with your little ones? I am always looking for new, sappy mommy/baby music for my ipod!

I'm Comin Out by Pink. I had a csection with my first daughter and when they were taking her out that song came on. It was a perfect song for that moment!

I had a song for each of them when I was pregnant so any time I hear those songs, I think of them. For my first, it was "Haven't Met You Yet" by Michael Buble and for my second, it was "Loving You is Easy" by Sarah McLachlan. Also, we sing "You Are My Sunshine" to each of them before every nap and at bedtime, and have since birth, so that always reminds me of them too.

When i was pregnant with my first and second sons my husband loved the song "arms wide open" by creed and I loved "blessed" by Elton John for both my boys.

the song that was playing in the or when dd was born was "Centerfield" "put me in coach, im ready to play." the songs that make me think of them both are you are my sunshine and my wish by rascal flatts

Only the chorus part- it would be creepy if the rest of the lyrics applied lol
Oh- and Low Rider lol when I was pregnant and we'd watch George Lopez reruns, little guy would always dance around when the song came on lol

Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" was playing as my c section was starting. So I always think of her when I hear it.
Bruno Mars "marry you" is her fav song to dance to on my iPhone.
when I was pregnant I really loved Michael Buble's "just haven't met you yet" and I still think of it as my DD's song

Jewels version of Brahms lullaby. I sang that to dd every night. Now she sings it with me--or even better to me. 
Also on the way home from the hospital with dd we heard Gyptian - Hold You (Reggae song -not even sure what they are saying) every time I hear that song it reminds me of her so small just starting out lives with her.

Same here!!
"Mine" from Tayolor Swift. It was popular when my twins were born so I heard it a lot on the radio on my daily trips up to the hospital to see them (NICU for 1.5 months). Mainly the line, "You are the best thing that's ever been mine."
There's a song by Pink that goes "Pretty pretty please, dont you ever ever feel like you are nothing. You are perfect to me."

Everybody Wants To Rule The World by Tears For Fears. This has always been my #1 all time favorite song, but on our way into the hospital parking lot it came on & the first line gave me chills "Welcome to your life, there's no turning back." 
As of Now, DS loves music & loves to dance "I Will Wait" by Mumford & Sons has knocked, "locked out of heaven" by Bruno Mars out of his #1 spot he even plays air guitar!

A few do.
One that sticks out is Queen/You're My Best Friend. It was me and DH's 2nd song at our wedding. When I was traveling aback and forth to the Nicu (the first month they were born) it seemed to be every other song on the radio.

When I was pregnant with DD the song "I just haven't met you yet" by Michael Buble was popular. I used to hear it in the car all the time ,always on my way to Dr's appts.
It kind of fit since I hadn't met her yet.
So that one.
And then when she was a baby she used to be very colic and we would try music to calm her.
She seemed to respond well to Hey Soul Sister by Train.
As she got a bit older she used to love it and laugh and bop a bit when it came on.
So both of those.
