Do you have a video monitor in your childs room?
Can you recommend it? Does it have night vision? Is the picture clear? Do you get interference? Any recommendations are appreciated. My daughter & I went out looking today are we're very confused. Thanks.

Yes and we LOVE ours!!! Summer Infant BestView. Night vision, big screen, no interference bc it's digital, not analog. Can't say enough about it!!!

We have the Summer Infant Day and Night and have had no problems with it so far. No interference at all and I went to a party at the next door neighbors house a few months ago and used the monitor the whole time. Never any interference and no problem checking out DS when I wanted.

us too!!!!
the night vision creeps me out sometimes tho  it makes DDs eye look black if her eyes are open. freaky when she looks right into the camera at like 3am

Haha I've always thought night vision was so creepy too!!! I can always tell if my son is still awake because I see these 2 little glowing black dots. It always reminds me of the Blair Witch Project!!

yes. I could not live without it! I have the summer handheld monitor. Picture is crystal clear. I love it so much I got one for my babysitter!

I have the Summer handheld one and it's good, but I don't think a video monitor is a necessity. We only bought one after my younger DD had a seizure at 20 mos...before that we had the audio only and you can hear absolutely everything with it. I have to tell you, we ended up really only using the video one for "entertainment" purposes..."Oh look how cute she looks in that position," etc. However, if you absolutely plan on buying one, then I feel the Summer is a good purchase--I've never had any interference or "mixed signals."

i have the summer hand held - it works great
i never even turn the sound on - i use it just to see what my son is doing- i can keeps tabs on when he is starting to wake up - i like the hand held because i can move it around as i get ready for work
