-We exchange stocking on Christmas Eve.
-Christmas Eve dinner with my family (traditional French meal).
-Nonstop holiday music/movies.

Re: Do you have any cute holiday traditions?
DH's family has a tradition that santa comes the night before Christmas Eve to drop off one gift for each person: a pair of cozy PJ's to wear on Christmas Eve night!!! Then we all make sure to not change before going to my in-laws for Christmas breakfast & presents! It's so fun to have everyone in their new pajamas from Santa!!!!!!! I def plan to keep up this tradition with our kids!

Re: Do you have any cute holiday traditions?
We always go to Hicks and Martin Viette to pick a family ornament together.
For Christmas, I put X-mas PJ's in everyone's stockings to wear that night, and Christmas morning we always listen to a Charlie Brown Christmas CD while we open presents. I make Cinnamon Rolls for breakfast.
This year I'm adding a couple:
hosting a cookie swap/ugly christmas sweater party.

Re: Do you have any cute holiday traditions?
We always watch "Christmas with the Kranks" - corny movie but we saw it right before we started seeing each other and we were laughing the whole time, so it just became a yearly thing lol. We also get hot chocolate and drive around looking at houses all lit up while listening to xmas music. That's my favoriteee.

Re: Do you have any cute holiday traditions?
My favorite is osting Christmas Eve at our house every year and for the last 4 years we've done a Christmas pajama theme. Everyone from the kids to the grandparents come in Christmas themed pajamas. We wear them all night, take tons of pictures, and celebrate all together in our pajamas! It's so much fun for the kids and the adults get a kick out of it too! Plus we get to be comfy and cozy instead of stuck in the usual holiday attire!

Besides the dreaded rat race of seeing everyone in a matter of a day?
I wrap all of my presents Christmas Eve afternoon watching the "Christmas Story" marathon.
I love some of your traditions. Now that I have a son, I think I'm going to borrow some of your ideas.

Every year for Christmas, my parents would buy my sister and I new Christmas pajamas and we would open them on Christmas Eve and wear them that night.
And...
I'm 30.
Married.
My sister is 24.
Pregnant.
And we still get Christmas pajamas on Christmas Eve to open!!!!!!!!
And we love it!!!!!
And DH gets them too!!!!
And since he never celebrated Christmas til we got together, he loves it even more than my sister and I do!!!!
This is so cute!

Re: Do you have any cute holiday traditions?
DH and I name our tree ever year. It started off as a joke, but then stuck to it, we are up to F.
Also go into the city for the tree and the window displays.

Re: Do you have any cute holiday traditions?
We "Jingle our presents to the tree". I did this growing up and now do it with DD.
On Christmas Eve, after spreading reindeer food outside and before we set up Santa's cookies and milk, we take turns putting our gifts to each other under the tree. We use a set of bells that is kept on the front door and jingle it as we bring the gifts from our room to put under the tree.
Of course Santa adds his later.

Re: Do you have any cute holiday traditions?
We are starting most of them this year because DD is getting old enough to understand.
1. We will start Christopher Pop In Kins on Dec 1st. This is a new tradition.
2. We are also starting an Advent calendar this year. I ordered one from PB Kids.
3. We will cut our own Christmas tree. This is the 3rd year we'll be doing this.
4. I want to decorate the tree, make hot chocolate and play Christmas music. Then I will give DD a gift, a new Christmas movie ('Shrek the Halls' this year because she loves Shrek) and a shirt with Minnie Mouse wearing a santa hat that she can wear while we watch the movie in front of the tree.
5. I want to steal the gingerbread cookie decorating idea. I think DD would love doing this.
6. Christmas Eve DD will get a new ornament and a pair of Christmas PJs.
7. Since I was born, on Christmas Eve we get together with my dad's side of the family. 11pm- 2 or 3AM. We open presents at Midnight and then my dad makes egg sandwiches and stuff.
I don't want to do this anymore. It was fun while it lasted, but things are different now. Last year was a disaster with DD, we were all exhausted the next day and we have our own house this year.
I think I may chage it this year and do a buffet sort of dinner for whoever wants to come and eat or just drop in to see DD. I want to put out cookies and milk with DD for Santa and put out her gifts with DH. I want to start our own thing.
8. Christmas day we will open our gifts, have breakfast and then go t my moms for the day.
ETA: I also love the idea of 'A Year in Review' letters. So cute!

Re: Do you have any cute holiday traditions?
I love reading all of these traditions!!
These are some of ours:
DH and I still open the chocolate advent calendar every day - we both did it as kids and wanted to continue that
I buy a new ornament for DH every year
On Black Friday we take out all the Christmas decorations and start decorating the house
Our friends and I go see the tree in the city every year and then go out to a nice dinner after
DH and I always spend a weekend baking cookies together.
Every year DH's aunt has a Christmas eve party and we always go. We open only presents from her each year and one of the presents is always a pair of socks. I love it and look forward to it!
Every Christmas morning we bake cinnamon rolls to eat before we open our gifts.
I'm sure we have more, but I can't think of them!

Re: Do you have any cute holiday traditions?
We buy each of the kids an ornament for the tree with their name and date on it. When they grow up and move out, they will take their ornaments with them.
My dad did this for us, and I have all my old ornaments on our tree, I love looking at them.
