Do you have any older student monitors or helpers in your class?

i always have 5th graders. they file things, stamp and sticker papers and basically do whatever i ask of them. they are such a big help!

Put homework in the folders, check the mailbox, deliver things to other teachers when necessary-do sorting, cut laminating....they are really terrific!

My monitors do a lot. They take attendance, collect homework, permission slips, file papers into portfolios, keep the room tidy, etc.
