Do you HAVE to put your real Christmas tree in a bag when you throw it out?
Do you HAVE to put your real Christmas tree in a bag or can you just put it at the curb? I've seen a lot of people put their trees out with a white bag around it and I just don't feel like going to the store to find one. Any thoughts?

A bag is not necessary. I think people do it so there is less of a mess carrying it out of the house

I dont have a real tree anymore. But when we did I found it nicer using the bag so when it got dragged through the house the neddles didnt go all over the place

I think you're right. I saw them for sale before we got our tree, it's laid on the floor before you put the tree stand down. So when the needles are dry and falling off, they fall into the bag instead of on the floor.
