Jose santos (jockey if that counts) is good friends with my husbands uncle. He has celebrated christmas eve and thanksgiving with us. He calls dhs grandpa "papi" lol
My cousin dated someone from the sopranos (way before the show though)

Soul on Fire? Good read, I miss him. I dont know anyone famous but I did meet Peter Steele once when I was pregnant with my son and he told me to "tell that kid in there good luck ossifying"
I love Peter Steele. DH and I are big Type O fans. We have a 1972 Dodge Dart that is flat black and Type O green.
I met them when I was maybe 15 and have a pic with Peter where both he and I are giving the most ultimate glaring stare...we put the whole "resting ***** face" thing to utter shame.
I miss Type O terribly.

Family friends with a famous 70s singer. My grandma is in a book with her and they do speaking engagements together. She came to celebrate the holidays with us too.

Related to someone on TV, but he's 1yr old and really twins playing 1 role. LOL! My cousin met the celebrities on the show and said they were all super nice.
Sat next to Matt Lauer at The Palm once. Can't really say I "Know" him.
I have seen Artie Lang when I lived in Hoboken and Carrot Top. Again, doesn't mean I know them.

I used to do theater plays with Jamie Lynn Sigler back when she just landed her role on the sopranos. She even dated a boy from my school (who used to bully me, but then stopped when he found out we were friends). She's extremely sweet.
And I met Natalie Portman a few times. She was okay, lol. But we weren't friends or anything.

These aren't celebrities in the sense that they're household names, but in certain circles they're famous.
I went to high school and I'm FB friends with Tony Harris - an artist that drew for DC comics (Starman, Ironman, etc). And my husband was in various bands with Matt Mahaffey, who wrote the Expedia jingle, toured with Beck, and is in a band called Self that was recently on The Carson Daly Show.
