Do you know someone that's so evil
that actually feeds on other people's misery? I work with a person who LOVES to see others upset, it actually makes her happy ... and if there isn't enough drama, she will create some to perk herself up.

Yes, he was my & my DH best friend for many years. Eventually, after a long & difficult introspect, we realized that he was sucking the life out of us & everyone else around him.

YES! She USED to work with me. I couldn't listen to her droning on and on so I mastered the skill of blocking her out. She was here for many years but eventually she got her comeuppance. Karma is a wonderful thing!

Fortunately, no one in my day to day life. But I did have a student during my second year who used to genuinely enjoy when other kids were hurt/upset. It was chilling. I think you can't help people like that.
