Do you know what this is called? (crude drawing included)
 I feel dumber just posting that.
Anyway, it's like a bobby pin, you squeeze it so the hook ends overlap, then you put it through a hole and let go, and the hooks fasten to the edges of the hole.
I can see it in my mind and I know I have something with this kind of hook on it, but I don't know what it's called or what it's for.
I'm asking because I'm making a custom order for something on Etsy and I'm trying to describe this thing to the seller so she can include it in the object.
Do you know what this is or what it's called? Even if you have something that has this on it, if you could tell me what it is, it might help.

You should bring the drawing to an Ace hardware. Those guys that work there are all so helpful and have never laughed in my face, even though I'm sure there were times they really wanted to.
