Do you love your single Bugaboos? What do you think of the Bugaboo Donkey?

At first I thought the Bugaboo Donkey was ugly but it has grown on me and now I think it is cute.

We are moving to the burbs this summer. I feel like the Bugaboo Donkey would be a nightmare to take in and out of the car. Most all my friends in the city don't even push their bugaboos most of the time. They still all have a bulky expensive stroller (bugaboo, stokke, orbit, uppa baby) but use their lighter stroller (city mini, maclaren) like 95% of the time.

What do you think of the bugaboo donkey?
Is it totally impractical for the burbs?

I can't help but feel like it would just sit there and I'd eventually buy and use a city mini double or a sit and stand.

I'm in nj. I use Bug for all the walks, but if I have to take a car I take a lighweight. I like that donkey in single mode has the storage next to seat. I hate the way storage is on my Bug.

I love my Bug for walks especially in the city but for anything requiring car travel or restaurants I hated it. I will say though I liked it better the second time around bc DS loves the buggy board nd it was easier to use when DD was in the infant carseat and him on the board. Even with her in the regular seat now I find it easier to use than the city mini double.

I LOVE my cameleon for walks but for running errands opening and folding it is annoying so I always kept my city mini single in my car for that. I was planning on getting the Donkey since I need a double now but figured I would want something easier to fold up (and I needed one last month and couldn't wait any longer) so I ended up getting the city mini double and I am VERY happy with it. Sure it doesn't push as comfortably as the bugaboo but for what I need it for, it's perfect.

I am SO intrigued by the bugaboo donkey! But it looks like a lot of bending over to adjust.

I live in the burbs and use my Bug abover anything and everything - and I work FT, so I'm not using it 1/2 as much as a SAHM would -

to ME, it's 100% worth the extra 10 seconds it takes to put together/take apart b/c the quality, and comfort far suprasses everything else.

I SO want the Donkey as my double, but I just refuse to spend $1500 on a double stroller - If I were a SAHM, I'd absolutely invest in it b/c I know I'd get a TON of use out of it.

I love my Bug and for me too it's worth the extra few seconds to get it out of the car. I already warned DH that when we have another I want the Donkey!

They have a bugaboo double now? WOW!

I loved my bugaoo (cameleon) but for the simple reason that it was SOOO smooth and sooo easy to handle.. I used either the bassinet or the car seat attachment when they were nb and then I just used the actual seat.. the kids loved it!

I absolutely loved my Bug. If I were to ever need a double I would definitely get the Donkey.

I use my Bug for walks and my Maclaren for shopping. I really have grown to love the Bug. I would definitely consider getting the Donkey, even though it looks a bit cumbersome.

I used to really love my Bugaboo, but this weekend I am going to sell it. Its really impractical to get in and out of the car, and unfortunately, I have to keep mine in the car as I have nowhere to store it in the house, and my daughter HATES it, she hates the seat, she squirms down and winds up with the straps giving her a wedgie. Also, for such an expensive pushchair, the straps are so freaking cheap. I used my bug with my first 5 years ago, and when he reached a year old, I retired it...with this kid, its just not enjoyable to use at all....anyway, I am going to sell it and buy a Micralite Superlite with the cash. Sorry about the vent...

I was debating on getting the donkey and then started doing my research and voted against it. I have a chameleon and honestly the thought of us or even family dropping that much money on a double stroller I needed to be sure..well besides it being the first year of its model and I think they will have kinks, the fact that the seat is at least 3 inches narrower than the chameleon sealed the fact that I was NOT going to get it!!!

I would get it if i had 2 little ones.
I love my bug. I pulled it in an out of car at the tire place today, the store, leo's job, and the ball field.
I have doubles that I use for both and nothing compares to the bug.

I skip the fancy crib and bedding...got the dressers off of craigslist.
stroller is so important to me.
