Do you make new mommy friends for your 2nd kid?
I feel like I finally have a bunch of mommy friends that have kids around Elizabeth's age and I really enjoy GTGs with them. Now that I have a newborn, do I have to make a whole new set of friends for her?

Most of my mommy friends are new friends from #3. I was working when I had the other 2 so I couldnt do playdates and such. I'm not going back to work so I made a ton of friends, and I love them all  Your DD is the perfect age to join our group!

OMG - your profile pic is ADORABLE!!! I was so bummed I couldnt go to Sunken Meadow the other day. Hopefully soon.

Many of my mommy friends (from Landon) also have a younger one or are pregnant, or planning on it... so I am lucky there. I will probably make new friends but it is not a MUST when the babies are so young. Landon is the one that really plays with his friends so his friends will come first.

Sorta Although both groups always welcome my other DC, activities planned are usually more age appropriate for one or the other. Plus once they are both mobile, it is very difficult to take 2 to a playdate.

Funny because most of my mommy friends had second child around the same time I did, so we are covered.
But-meeting new people can be fun so go for it anyway!

As others have mentioned, most of my mommy friends have kids the same ages as both of my DSs. Some of my friends have kids right in the middle though (you know who you are  ) so we are set on both sides

You don't have to ;). A lot of your mommy friends have babies too - a the gap between Alexandra and them will close in no time (just like Elizabeth and Ryan playing together - she's got 5 months on him, right?). Colin, Tyler, Lola, Madison's brother, Gregory, etc. are great playmates for her ;)

I have alot of friends who have kids the same age as Tyler so we will get together also. I guess when he goes to school I will become friendly with the moms of kids his age.
Honestly, not to sound like a total bittch but I have too many friends that I can't really see myself making any more. We hardly have any time as it is right now.
