Re: Do you miss being pregnant?
yes & no...
yes: because i was VERY constipated, it made my life wonderful. I have ibs-d - which means i NEVER EVER stop going. being constipated was the best thing to ever happen to me.
no: because I had gd, horrible congestion (still do, but that's another story), and terrible carpal tunnel.

Re: Do you miss being pregnant?
I LOVED being pregnant even through the enormous amount of swelling and the excruciating pelvic pain, I loved it.

YES! I feel better pregnant then not and loved every minute of it, but off course nothing compares to being a mommy and having Santino here!

Yes, I LOVED it! Having DD here is obviously 100x better but I had a great pregnancy.
I feel the same way

I don't miss anything about being pregnant! I HATED it, and I didn't even have a very difficult pregnancy (no vomitting, etc). I LOVE having my body back, and holding DS outside of me, feeling his kicks outside!
I couldn't have said it any better.

Re: Do you miss being pregnant?
no
But really, the first time around was a lot easier then this one.
I was fine the whole pregnancy, right up until I gave birth at 32 weeks, 5 days.
So, with this one, there are more sonograms, more doctor visits. Plus weekly progesterone shots.
But all worth it to me.

Re: Do you miss being pregnant?
I miss feeling my babies move. But I also had a very stressful pregnancy and wasn't able to fully enjoy it. Now that I know I can have a successful(mostly ) full term pregnancy I would love to try again. But we have IVF twins and my DH is DONE...I was pretty incapacitated towards the end of my pregnancy but with one it would probably be easier

OMG!! YES!! I can't wait to be pregnant again. I had bad M/S too for about 15 weeks. I'm not looking forward to that, but I love the rest.

a little sometimes. I miss the movement inside of me and knowing my baby was always with me. Now he's in daycare and I'm at work and that makes me sad.
But, I also had a really great pregnancy. No morning sickness, I didn't feel particulary moody (anymore then is normal for me ) Towards the end I wanted it to be over mostly because my feet got REALLY swollen and painful and sleeping was killing my back and hips. Otherwise it wasn't too bad.
But, I do love getting to see my little guy smile and hearing him laugh now!!
same here word for word!!

Re: Do you miss being pregnant?
I had THE world's worst pregnancy last time, but I still managed to find a glimmer of happiness in the whole thing. It was really hard to smile through what was the most severe pain imaginable, but I managed to find some things that I loved about it.
I'm hoping my back stays well this time and that I can TRULY enjoy this pregnancy...I'd like to have SOME good memories, KWIM?

Re: Do you miss being pregnant?
Yes & no. I like being pregnant for the most part- I love the belly & anticipation & the kicking. After DD was born I missed it so much & couldn't wait until the time was right to do it again. This time, I do miss it & look forward to doing it again in a couple of years, but I don't have a burning desire *right this moment*. It's like I miss it, but I can wait.
I wonder if it's because I had no m/s with DD. I had horrible all day sickness for 18 weeks with DS . I think I was traumatized

I never, ever, ever missed being pregnant after having Ava. My pregnancy was SO uncomfortable. However, I think I will miss pregnancy after this one. I'm loving it this time around

Re: Do you miss being pregnant?
I hated being pregnant and now that Im not, I miss it. I find myself (and even DH) still rubbing my belly at times (DD is only 2 weeks old) and I especially miss those little kicks

Re: Do you miss being pregnant?
DS is one and I missed being pregnant the second he was born. I loved being pregnant. I miss that feeling of having him move around inside of my, although it is a MILLION times better to hold him in my arms. Time to do it all again!

Re: Do you miss being pregnant?
I don't miss the beginning or end of pregnancy, but the middle 20 weeks or so were awesome! I do miss feeling the baby kick, the anticipation of what she would look like and how I looked. I think I was a cute pregnant lady!
