Re: do you ned pack and play for your home or just for traveling
i registered for one, kept it in the living room mostly. I HATE having to pack it up, what a pain. (Im lazy). So, I bought another one, used, that I keep in the garage or trunk of the car to take with me when I need it to go somewhere.

I have all bedrooms on one level and I still used one in my living room! I just use that same one when I travel too. Packing it can be a pain, but we don't need two!

I personally only used it a handful of times for both kids.

Re: do you ned pack and play for your home or just for traveling
My PnP is the bain of my existence when it comes to my Mother and having a young child. When both my kids were small - old enough to stand and get around - all she ever kept doing is pushing for me to "park" them in it b/c thats what they did when my brother & I were babies. As many times as she "suggests" it, I tell her that nobody really does that anymore and she gets mad. LMAO! Its a constant battle of wills when it comes to that damn PnP, I am dreading when baby #3 is old enough for me to get the speech.
Separate of that, I did use it as a place for my son to sleep when he was a baby and we went visiting. Then it was a safe place to put him when I needed to go in the basement or the bathroom. I also used it on one or two occasions where I brought it to a relatives house or a picnic so I had somewhere to put him when I was trying to eat. The set up of my house (split) never made it necessary for me to use it as an alternate sleeping/changing area. So ours has mainly gone unused. I dont think I used it with my daughter at all.

Re: do you ned pack and play for your home or just for traveling
We only recently put it away (and will still use for traveling). We had it set up in our living room but lately it just became a dumping ground for toys, etc.

I only use mine when I want to take a shower. We haven't really travelled and I have a crib at my mom's.

Re: do you ned pack and play for your home or just for traveling
I only used mine for travelling twice in 14 months.
I use to keep it downstairs in my house for napping place or a safe haven for the baby to play when I had to take care of something. I put it away a few months ago but recently took it back out to keep near my bedroom bathroom so I can get a quick shower in the morning!!

Re: do you ned pack and play for your home or just for traveling
I used mine in the LR, like others, to keep Molly in when I needed to run to the bathroom or was cooking something on the stove. I did bring it with us when we traveled. And when Molly was 15months and went to a new daycare she used it for naps up until she was 2 years old. It is now packed away for baby #2.
