Do you need a permit to get a fence put up?
Just curious
My neighbor has dogs that they leave on a chain in their back yard and there is no fence separating our yards - we want to put a fence up but don't know if we need to get a permit
where can i get info on this?

I think each town is different. I checked the Town of Babylon website before we did ours & found the answers that I needed. Def check out your town's site.

Town Hall. Every town is different, sometimes different areas of the town are different, and it sometimes depends on where on the street, and what street you are on.
Does that clear things up?.....
