Yep my friend showed me after a night class we had together in college. I was a sophmore. I couldnt quite grasp the fact of what it was all about... but things have never been the same since!

Me too. 1995 - my freshman yr. I think they had Prodigy. I don't think that even exists anymore.

yes! it was too sign up for aol..back then it was the only internet chat thing and i wanted to go into chat rooms so badly..
it took me 4ever to come up with a screen name and we made up the name
jazzshoe b/c me and my sister both danced... a few yrs later a guy friend asked me why my screen name was jazz's hoe

1995 for me evenn though my sister was on prodigy
with other "intellects" in the late 70's and ran up a $1,000.00 phone bill in a month...Dad was not happy!!

Fall 1995 when I was a freshman in college. I remember being captivated by how entertaining the forwards were that my friend sent in an email. My, how times have changed!

I don't remember, I think it was work
but I remember in college people going to the computer lab and opening "accounts" and I thought that was way too high tech for me. I only used the computer in college for MS word

Wow...I guess not really till maybe 1997....we didn't get a computer at home till then.
In college I did all my research the old fashioned way......at the library!!!

I remember it well.....we didn't have a computer at home, but my friend Brian had a computer and he introduced me to the world of chat rooms....that was back in 1993.
When I met DH in college he was the first to introduce me to ebay and helped me make my first purchase....a pair of pearl earrings that my sister borrowed and never gave back....that was 1995. 11 years later I still want my earrings back...they are sentimental, lol!
