Do you remember your first slow dance?
"Teacher" by George Michael just came on the radio and it took me back... waaay back to 1988 when I had my first slow dance with Chris Vitale at his junior prom.
I had NO idea how to slow dance. You would think I'd have found out before the prom, wouldn't you? 
I still get a little embarrassed when I think about how obvious it was that I had no idea what I was doing. But he was such a nice boy. We were head over heels and learning as we went. 
Do you remember your first dance? The song that was playing?

LOL it was 8th grade, back in 1993 or 94.... the song was " gangsta lean" by some one hit wonder band.
it was with my friend dan, who was super tall, and i'm super short. his friends basically dared us to dance lol. it was at my friend tracy's house at her birthday party... i remember he was wearing this really nice cologne, too.... lol

lol so funny this was posted I was just reading an old diary yesterday and read my over analyzing of my first slow dance. It was soooo funny how much detail I described it in. It was 1997 Celine Dion- Because You Loved Me..

Probably the senior prom I went to with my BF at the time (like 6 months before DH & I got together!!) and I think it was Billy Joel "These are the Times" as it was their prom song
Though I more remember other songs played that night, I assume that was the slow dance we did

I was in 6th grade (or there about).
It was a boy's birthday party- I still remember his name!
This then morphed into "Spin the Bottle".
Ahhh...birthday parties in the '80's rocked!

8th grade dance with peter who also was my first kiss! ...it was to "everything I do i do it for you" by bryan adams. DH wanted to dance to it at our wedding and i was like "noooooooooo" it would remind me too much of peter!

mine was also to crazy for you
after-school dance in the gym. i was also in the sixth grade. i don't remember the boy's name, but i remember him rubbing up against me.

Wow, this took a while of thinking before I remembered.
I'm pretty sure it was to "Wonderful Tonight" at the junior prom - I was just a sophomore, but my date was a junior and I was SO excited to be there, even though I didn't like him very much.
