Do you return recalled food?
I just noticed we have an unopened jar of the recalled Peter Pan peanut butter..Do you bother returning for a refund or exchanging or just trash it? I know you can return it, just wondering if people usually bother.

My co-worker had the bad batch and went back to the store and exchanged it for a good jar

If it were an expensive thing I would have. I felt it was too much hassle to do it over the peanut butter, but It is your money, so why not get it back?

I'd probably throw it out, but if there is an 800 number on the jar give them a call... I bet they will send you coupons
