I used to send out cards to everyone I knew, but got very few back in return. So I stopped sending them. DH does sometimes though,

We always have but until we had DS we would never put a pic of us in it, I also don't like when people put their pets in it, we won't hang those up. I find it creepy.

We send cards every year. Usually we put a picture of the dog on them  Order them from Shutterfly. I wouldn't send a pic of us on them though.

I send out cards with my dog on it. I love the cards with everyone's pets on them...usually more than the ones with the kids

thanks everyone! guess the wedding pic was a bad idea (we did traditional thank you cards, no pic, so i thought people might like that but i guess it's taboo)
maybe we'll do one of our pets instead

We got married last year a couple of months before Christmas so we sent out holiday cards with a wedding pic on them and on the back there was a pic of our dog with a santa hat on it. Since we had yet to send out our TY cards and everyone was asking to see wedding pics, we thought this was a nice compromise. People liked them and gave a lot of compliments, but we only sent them to family and close friends. FM me if you want to see what they looked like - I think you know your friends and family best so if you think THEY will like them, then it's not taboo. 
This year we might send a card with a pic of our dog on it or just regular cards with no pic, not sure yet.

Yes, we send out holiday cards. Last year I bought generic ones in the store. I think this year, I am gonna buy ones and have our names printed inside...

standard cards. no offense to anyone--but unless you are taking pics of little kids and stuff to send for friends & family--i never understood putting pics on cards.
ITA. Not a fan of adults/pets on holiday cards. If it's not a photo of something you would normally share with other people (i.e. "look at these cute pics of my kids), it doesn't belong on a holiday card.

If I remeber to buy them I send them, if not no. I personally think the idea of a couple putting themselves on the card WITHOUT kids is a bit cheese. A kid, dog, ok.

Usually just regular ones, but this year I was going to do a photo
Only because we got married in Feb and I am now 7 months pregnant so I was going to do something cute with a wedding photo and a belly photo
Otherwise, I leave the photos for kids

I just got them printed up from Miles Kimball. Last year I wrote them all out. This year, I'll put a personalized greeting (Dear Aunt...) and maybe a little note.

I wish I could do this! I am such a "card person" and I no longer wish to be....I don't want anyone to get offended that I don't send them a card anymore.
