Do you stop your exercise routine when you have guests?
We had guests staying this weekend and had a christening party to attend. Between everything I didnt get my normal exercising in and it really bothered me - I did take walks with them and the kids but not my usual power walks and evenings on the treadmill. I just felt weird saying " I am off to exercise now so see you later"....
Now its monday and I have to make up for it....
Anyone else feel like this or do you just do your normal workouts and not worry about being gone from your guests?

Re: Do you stop your exercise routine when you have guests?
I am an early riser, so I usually try to get in my run before my guests wake up. I did this when I went on vacation with my girlfriends. They all sleep until 9:30-10 and I can barely make it until 8!
It also depends on who the guest is. If it is my family, I am more likely to go about my normal am routine. If it is friends, I will pass on the run or invite them with me.

I just had DH's mother and grandmother here. I'm doing the 30 day shred and I ended up doing it every night they were here but I did it after 10 PM when everyone went to bed.
ETA; if friends were visiting I woul dbe less likely to keep it up all week because we like to drink and I can't do shred after a couple glasses of wine.

Dont feel weird ... you have to take care of yourself .Others will probaly look up to you and follow what your doing . I cant see anyone saying " I cant believe her she went for a walk " , they will probaly say something like "maybe I will go with her " .

I have a monthly unlimited yoga plan and I have missed A LOT of classes this month due to my family visiting. It's hard to just leave for what turns out to be close to 3 hours.
I am planning to bring my sister with me tonight at least since she is visiting.
