do you take completely naked pics of your kids?
I took some pics of Luce in his bath yesterday. he is totally naked and barely fits so my boy was out there for the world to see  
when I showed dh he was scandalized  he was like "what is THAT" 
I think he looks adorable and I can't wait to use them as blackmail when he starts high school  
anyone else?

I try not to anymore. Christopher has a really funny song he made up about "shaking his tushie" and I videoed it, but wearing a diaper b/c the nakie butt one was a bit too much for me (though WAY funnier)

I have and never thought twice about it. Put them on my Kodak gallery but then got worried after I ordered some cute bath photos.
I want to remember my DD's every roll when she grows up, so yes, I took some when she was a few mths old.

We have but don't print them out at stores or anything. My mom's worried about them getting in the wrong hands and child pornography (which i hadn't thougt of) so his naked pictures are for our eyes only.
My DH doesn't really like it either so sometimes we put a little washcloth on top. He just looks so adorable with all his rolls.

DH does the samething... well, minus the "playboy" comment
He'll put the washcloth over his privates in the tub. Then again, we keep it over b/c he's been known to pee anyway

I will def take bathtime pics of DS but will cover "him" up with bubbles... I won't do completely naled pics other than the ones DH took when he was born.

Nope. I dont like it but more so, nowadays you cant be too careful if you get them printed/developed. Someone could report a perfectly innocent pic as child pornography. Even the few bath pics we have DS is covered up with a washcloth.

Yes. I have nudie pics when they were little babes.. but then they got to big and it seemed more indecent.
Having said that, the other day Robbie came running into the office (buck naked) and said "LOOK! I HAVE A LITTLE MAN!" He was pointing out that his surgery scars make a face.. 2 slanted scars in his inguinal area are the eyes, his peep is the nose and the curved scar on the balls is the mouth. I was THISCLOSE to grabbing my camera.. but I couldn't and didn't. Instead I laughed and told him he needs to cover up his privates and not show anyone else his little 'man'. That was tempting but I feel like after they are out of the toddler stage it isn't appropriate anymore.

It definitely makes sense to be careful about sending them around, even to family and friends. I read some story not that long ago about a father being brought up on charges for bathtime pictures that his mother forwarded around - really awful for something so innocent to become a criminal proceeding so definitely be cautious!

I have taken bath pics and for his first V-day (he was about 8 weeks) I took naked pics so I could do a little cherub collage of him.
We made a book of his first year and there is a big picture of his first bath, nothing is covered. We gave it as a gift to grandparents and no one seemed put off by it.

i had taken plenty of naked pics of my niece and nephew. My dad and mom have two hanging up in their hallway upstairs. You see a side profile top only and one is a backside shot of them both.
We certainly have full on naked shots that are in albums. We show family all the time, the twins even ask to see them and laugh about it.
If i ever have kids i plan on taking pictures of them nude.

This question came up for DH and me a few weeks ago. Our DD will be 3 in April, and was sitting on the side of the bathtub and I took a photo. You could see her little tushie, it was a very cute picture.
Then I remembered the Walmart story, where I think the kids weren't even naked, they were older kids, but wearing towels.
We did take some bathtime pictures when she was younger, usually I try to take from an angle so nothing too private shows.
But, what age is that ok to do until???? I sort of thought, since she is not fully toilet trained yet, and not modest yet, it was fine, but once she is toilet trained, we would not take more bathtime photos.
What do you guys think? Is age 3 too old for bathtime pics?
