Me too! I pay for satellite radio primarily for him. I will not justify the $20/month if I cant hear Howard. Plain and simple.
I he sign another contract.

I would keep Siri if he left. But I had Sirius for 2 years before Howard even moved over there.
I drive at least 2 hours a day in the car and there are no modern hard rock stations in NY anymore so I dont know what I would listen to if I didnt have satellite.

I don't think they'll ever have Artie back for an interview. Howard can't deal with it.
Last month Artie called the show (not on air) and spoke to Howard, Gary and a few others. I've heard Gary talk about Artie wanting to come in and sit on the couch. Of course they're not sure if its a good idea for Artie and his sobriety..but Gary has thrown the possibility of an Artie interview out there a few times. He went into some detail on the last celebrity superfan round table.
I would love to hear Artie on the show one last time.

Without Artie the show is much less entertaining.
I think Artie wants to come back and interview, sure. But even though Howard says he wants Artie to come back for an interview, I dont believe him. Howard just wants to put out the perception he is OK with it. You know half the time Howard says stuff he really doesnt mean it.
Everytime the Artie interiew gets brought up, either H/R/F will say "Is it really a good idea for him to come here??" giving Howard the out to not put him on.
He's all about the perception, and he knows the listeners want to hear Artie so that is what he is goin gto go for. I mean how many things does he 'accidentally omit'? The fact that his plane ride to California to see Beth was a private plane with Demi and Ashton on it? The fact that they have mulitple maids at their house(s)? The fact that Apple and Walter really live in the Hamptons and not in the NYC apartment? Anytime something really personal that would ruin his 'everyman' image, he shushes them off.
Just my 2 cents..

I hope so!!!!! ETA - this is so bad - but because my dad was a huge fan - I have been listening to him since I was 6!!! So that is 30 years - since he started on radio!!! Isn't that crazy????
