Do you think it is a big deal if DS doesn't eat green veggies?
He LOOVVVES the orange ones. He will eat sweet potatos and squash til the cows come home. He likes those over most fruit too.
I give him the combos for dinner, so I think they have peas in some of them, but he hates green beans and peas so we haven't been giving them for lunch (we do oatmeal and applesauce for breakfast, fruit or veggie for lunch and combo for dinner)
Think we should force feed him the green ones?

Sometimes my kid does not eat anything for days. He never really ate greens until I started giving him whole peas.
He now loves peas(every few days)

I wouldn't "force feed" him green veggies but I would try mixing a small amount with his orange veggies. He may not notice and you may be able to slowly get him used to them. Either way, it's not the end of the world.
ETA: OMG...I saw that I wrote that I WOULD force feed him greens...I meant to write that I WOULDN'T. Sorry about that.....

nah- they are totally in certain stages and acquire tastes for certain foods at different time- DD used to HATE broccoli- now i barely have time to cook it before she is stuffing STALKS in her mouth....

Have you tried to mix them with cereal? I don't think it's a big deal, but I would just keep trying and trying and trying and I'm sure he will eventually take to them!

I don't think force feeding is going to make him want to eat it. He might associate green veggies with punishment... why not find better ways of feeding him the stuff?
It is important that your child doesn't become a picky eater so that he gets all the nutrients he needs...
Read either Sneaky 'Cheff or Deceptively Delicious to find recipes that can help.

I don't think it's a big deal.
Steven didn't eat the green veggies Stage 1 or 2 AND they gave him lots of gas so I stopped buying and offering them. Once he started eating chunks of food, now he LOVES greenbeans and peas.
