Do you think it's OK to combine siblings bday parties?
OK so Mallory and Addison's bdays are 1 month apart and Mal's is shortly after Christmas.. do you think it's OK to combine their bday parties... Mal is going to be 3 and Addy is turning 1... I know that it's not fair later on when they are older and have school friends and such....but do you think it's ok for just this year?

Yes, I did. My DD turned 1 on May 6th and my DS turned 3 on May 9th, so I had a combined party for them the following weekend. It made it so much easier on family that celebrated with us. I will be doing combined parties until they protest

yes, I always had mine and my cousin's together and we were practically like brother and sister. We always had a blast and it is one of my fondest childhood memories. Go for it!!

Re: Do you think it's OK to combine siblings bday parties?
Me, my brother, and my sister all have b-days within 2 weeks of each other(we missed being irish triplets by 10 days)
we always had 1 huge party. It was fine. When we got older, each took 2 friends to the rides or something.
on our real b-days, we got our own cake and just sang...my mother always felt it was too much to ask people to come over 3 times in 2 weeks for kids b-day parties.
we never minded at all, all the money went into that one day.

I agree. Especially if they were born near the holiday season. People have a lot of obligations that time of the year so I'd say one party.

Molly will be 1 on Oct 25 and Jack will be 3 on the 19th so we are doing one party. And then Jack will have his friends over on his birthday for a kiddie party.

Re: Do you think it's OK to combine siblings bday parties?
I think it's okay for 1 year, but I wouldn't make a yearly thing out of it.
My birthday is nov 6th, my bro's Nov 25th, my mom combined our family birthday parties since my bro's 2nd birthday until I was 10-11 years old. I HATED IT, I hated every minute of it! I never had my own birthday til my pre teens. They are individuals and should be celebrated that way
