Do you think it's wrong to "do the deed" in your parents bed if you are married or have been living together for years?

If you are married and/or have been living together, and you stay with your in laws and they offer their bed, would you "do the deed" in their bed, or would you feel completely bad and disrespectful?

It's kind of a Catch 22 situation because they know you are married, but it can be weird. The same way if they come to stay with you and you offer your bed, sometimes they are reluctant to take it because they know this is where the "deed" is done? Chat Icon

Anyway...your thoughts ladies?

I would not "do the deed" in my parents or my in-laws bed, let alone their house.

It's so crazy, because I was actually SHOCKED at some of the answers I got from friends of mine.

Me personally..I wouldn't. I just would not feel right. Then it made me wonder how they would feel about sleeping in our bed? Sure the sheets would be changed etc...but it's kind of the same thing...at least to me.

Not only wouldn't I 'do the deed' I would not sleep in their bed either. I would stay in a hotel before I would sleep in their bed.

I would never sleep in my inlaws bed period, nor would i do the deed if i were staying with them. I think that I could have a little self control for the duration of the stay. And I would not allow my inlaws to sleep in my bed either.

if you wouldn't want them doing the deed in your bed...then you shouldn't do the deed in thier bed.

I don't think that I would feel comfortable in someone else's bed.

Yeah, I don't know why I would be sleeping in my parents bed with my DH but if I was unless we were TTC and we HAD to do the deed, I think we are grown up enough to control ourselves temporarily.
