It's from 9:15 until 11:30 3x a week. Will this be too much on Ds? I signed him up already!!! I'm hoping I won't regret it but he loves other children and he's in a ton of programs since 9 months! And I'm hoping to get some free time!!!

Of course it depends on your kid, but I think it's fine. I think the earlier they are socializing the better. DD will be 2 next Feb and in Jan I'm starting her in a 2 days a week program for 3 hrs per day. She'll be 23 months and it's an early 2's program.

Not at all! When DS turned about 20 months I started him at a daycare one day a week for socialization. He loves it!

I know each family/child is different, but if you think of all the families/children in FT day care since 6 weeks... 3 days, 2 1/2 hours doesn't seem like a lot to me.

DS will be turing 2 in Sept. I signed him up for 2x a week 2.5 or 3.5 hours (I can let him stay for an extra hour when it's desired). The teacher told me that by the middle of the year I will probably be adding a day. She said most children at that point want to go 3x a week!

This is what I plan on doing also, DS will be 2 in jan and he'll be starting the 2's jan-june and then continue with the "older" 2's in sept-june 2013.

ITA. My DC have been in daycare since they are 3 months old with no issues and they are there approx 40 hours a week

My son has been in a two day program all year, and I want a third day so bad, but they dont have the room. So I just added a third hour to his two days.

By the time I run a quick errand, get home, its time to pick him up.

I was thinking of doing this thank you for posting. Are you paying extra if you DC is not potty trained?
