for a rehearsal dinner...
This top in purple/lilac
with gauchos like this...
and strappy wedge heel are appropriate? I feel like I don't know what to wear lately..because I'm in comfy SAHM clothes all day...

It seems casual to me, but depending on where it is, maybe you can get away with it.
Maybe pair the gauchos with a fancy top?

I like the pants better than the top. I think the pants could be dressed up easier. If that makes sense.

The rehearsal dinner is at La Famiglia in Smithtown.
I've never been there...I don't know the atmosphere...

pants are fine - different top would be much better.
La Famiglia is a casual place - you will get people in jeans there - but because its an occasion, I would dress nicer.

hmm.. i think its the pants that look sloppy - only because i've seen them in sweatpant material a lot so that was my first reaction. the shirt is a bit casual but with a more dressy bottom it would be a good outfit

Keep the pants (very cute) w/ heals/strappy sandals but I'd go for a "fancier" top. Maybe something w/ a sleeve?
I tend to associate tanks & tube tops with a much casual environment. 
You will look great whatever you choose I'm sure!

Maybe wear a cut shrug or jacket over it? I think if it's casual go for it.....anything can be dressed up w/jewelry and cute strappy shoes. You'll look great!!
