Do you use shaving CREAM or shaving GEL?
for some reason, I can't get with the 21st century and use gel - even though I know it lasts a lot longer and that is what most people are using. I have to buy Skintimate shaving cream at Stop & Shop because I haven't seen it anywhere else 
what do you like better about gel?

I use my hair conditioner, it makes your legs like a babies bottom. Tried it a few years ago and havent gone back to a gel in awhile.

I use Johnson's baby wash most of the time.
Used to use shave gel and found that it made my legs break out in some spots, and they burned a little.

Same here. I haven't bought shaving cream/gel in more than 10 years since I started using Dove soap or hair conditioner.

you can get a bottle of inexepensive conditioner for $1 (V05) and I bet it would last for ages! I so need to try this!

with men's disposable twin blade razors (I use a new razor every time I shave.)
I tried the conditioner thing 15+ years ago and it just didn't give me the close shave I like. That's also the reason why I don't buy gel shaving cream.

Actually I started using the Venus Breeze that has the catridges with the shaving cream/gel whatever on it. They are good.

same here, although I find I need to replace my razor more often though. Still worth it

Gel, it just makes my legs softer, and its easier to shave with the gel.

I usually buy the 4 pack of gel from Price Club. It lasts me a long time.
But, I have used conditioner if I am out and although it works great, it does clog up my razor. I will also use DH's shaving gel too.

i'm allergic to ALL those types of products-- gels, creams, etc-- anything MADE FOR shaving 
it makes my skin just break out in hives/rashes... so, i use aveeno SKIN cream to shave with-- or curel-- but it sux b/c it's pricey to shave your legs with hand/face cream 
oh well- better then a rash!
i have heard from friends that they prefer a foaming cream over a gel. hth

oh, well forget that then. IMO, Venus blades are too expensive to get cloged up. they don't last that long anyway.

i do this over the summer when i shave A LOT and the cream gets $$ when buying it so often-- that works great too! i've done that for years- and before i discovered that i could use face cream. very smoooooth!

I use soap, just my liquid soap on a loofa makes enough of a lather for me to shave!!!
