Doc's Appointments for your DC and work

Hi,

I work from home and as I am the only employee there are no set guidelines for things like taking my daughter to doctors appointments etc.

Usually I just take her and work later to make up for it but I have to take her up the island for an appointment later this month and wonder if I take a half day is that supposed to come out of my vacation time etc.

So how does your employer handle time off for this type of thing?

DH usually takes DS to his scheduled appointments when he is off. If it is not a scheduled appt, he will bring him when he gets home from work in the morning.
