Doctor finds spiders in ear of boy with earache
HOW GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!! 
ALBANY, Oregon (AP) -- These guys were not exactly Snap, Crackle and Pop.
What began as a faint popping in a 9-year-old boy's ear -- "like Rice Krispies" -- ended up as an earache, and the doctor's diagnosis was that a pair of spiders made a home in the ear.
"They were walking on my eardrums," Jesse Courtney said.(Watch how an earache led to the creepy discovery )
One of the spiders was still alive after the doctor flushed the fourth-grader's left ear canal. His mother, Diane Courtney, said her son insisted he kept hearing a faint popping in his ear -- "like Rice Krispies."
Dr. David Irvine said it looked like the boy had something in his ear when he examined him.
When he irrigated the ear, the first spider came out, dead. The other spider took a second dousing before it emerged, still alive. Both were about the size of a pencil eraser.
Jesse was given the spiders -- now both dead -- as a souvenir. He has taken them to school and his mother has taken them to work.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
That is so utterly disgusting and disturbing. I would DIE if a spider was found in my ear or near my ear, or any body orafice for that matter.

I think I heard somewhere that pretty much everyone has had a bug in their ear or in their mouth (and swallowed it) while sleeping... I don't remember where though, but I know I read it because I was so creeped out by it.

I will never foget my 6th grade teacher told us a similiar story. Her brother was working on a car in the rain and a spider crawled into his ear. But, he lost his balance & everything. Grosses me out still till this day.

I always fear something like this. Some movie Claire Daines was in...she had a cockroach or somethign in there and it skeeved me to no end and I have never forgotton about it!
That and the old tale of a woman who had a spider lay eggs in her mouth and they got under her tongue.l
Ugh.
I shiver to even think of it.

My mom used to work for an ears, nose and throat doctor and a man came in ....with a horrible earache....(not for the faint of heart) they found a roach in there!!

I FREAKED this morning when I heard this on the news...the boy was laying on his bed reading a book about spiders...FREAK!
The absolute SCARY thing is I'm deathly afraid of them and found one this morning crawling on DH's pillow. Needless to say I just made him spray the inside and outside of the house.
