Doctor Help! Need to switch RE!
After a successful IUI (first try) in January I lost the pregnancy in March at 8w2d. Since then my husband switched jobs and we now have Infertility coverage; however, it's with Aetna and my current RE is not affiliated with Aetna.
I was referred to a few different RE's and want your opinions on them or who you use and your story (I know it's been asked 1000 times before). Side note: I have unexplained Infertility and unexplained Loss, this was my first pregnancy too.
Dr. Christine Mullen Dr. Pena Dr. Chu
My RE was a in a small practice with only him. I loved the one on one attention and how I got to know the staff so if you have someone like that pleases let me know too.

I have Aetna and used RMA NY. They are, by far, not a small practice, though. But I highly recommend and trust them. I have a 2 years old and a 9 day old because of them.

Thank you for the feedback. And congrats! Did you go to the office in NYC or Garden City, any specific Dr or you saw different doctors?

Doctor Help! Need to switch RE!
I would have a consult w a few drs and then make your decision. I used RSONY and then switched to dr palter. Sorry I don't know anything about the drs you listed but I would just do your dilligence first.

I agree with this. RMA takes Aetna & I know many who got pregnant after multiple failures elsewhere.
Big procedures will be done in nyc.

Thank you! I'm going to call over there. I'm hoping another IUI works and sticks thus time!

My issue with getting consults is that I'm ready for IUI my next cycle and time isn't on my side. I only consulted with one RE last time so was hoping everyone here could guide me LOL

Doctor Help! Need to switch RE!
I ran away from Dr. Chu, she was nice and all and I THOUGHT I liked her and was getting good care until it became about $. I switched, realized I hadn't been getting the best care - and had a very different experience with Dr Brenner
