Does a fever affect sperm count????
It looks like I finally might o on my own after taking metformin for PCOS. They scheduled an IUI for tomorrow am. DH has a fever (it reached 101.5). He took tylenol to bring down the fever.
Obviously I hope he'll be feeling better tomorrow, but can't help but worry that his sperm count/quality could be adversely affected by the fever.
I told the PA at my RE's office that he wasn't feeling god and she said it shouldn't matter, but I didn't know at that time that he had a fever.
This is just our luck.

It still shouldn't affect his sperm count.

fever does effect sperm count. But the sperm he produces today was made 3 months ago. So in 3 months you may see a dip.
