Does Acidophilus need to be refrigerated?
I was going to start taking this but will never remember to do it everyday if I have to keep it in the fridge.
The pharmacist said it doesn't have to be refrigerated (once the bottle is opened) but the bottle says it does.
If I don't refridgerate it, will it go bad or just not be as effective?

If the bottle says keep refrigerated (and you bought it in the refrigerated section of the store) then yes keep it refrigerated. It is live bacteria. Some places sell it not refrigerated. I have always heard the refrigerated kind is better but who knows..

I take Align and I don't refrigerate. Some brands do though.
