Does anyone belong to any country/yacht clubs...
around the Huntington area? If so, which one? I am looking into them and I wanted some thoughts.

My friend's parents have belonged to the Huntington Crescent Club for years. We used to take tennis lessons there and her wedding was there, and it's very nice.

my parents are members of both the head of the bay club and the huntington country club
I grew up at the bay club- love that is on the water - i did wim team there, tennis and sailing lessons, then later worked at the camp - the camp is a big draw to many parents - it is group babysitting as the counselors called it but the kids enjoy it ecause it is really low key and most of the kids i had were so busy during the year that they enjoyed a low key camp
the club house is nice and happy hour on fridays in the summer is phenomanol - oh i would be a member is a lived on LI - the tennis pro is also very good - have taken lessons from him many times and i enjoy ladies day just wish it was weekends
the country club is for golf for my father- very stuffy - only the husband is the real member - they are undergoing renovations this year so the wait list has gone down considerable amount

Centerport Yacht Club is great, my parents belonged there, right on the water, great pool but no golfing

Took sailing lessons there for years. I love it (well mainly because my friends worked there).
Huntington Bay is supposed to be great.
