I know I asked this before, but Henry sidetracked the thread
Every now and then we go to the Meadowlands racetrack to bet.
But I always make DH bet for me because I can never figure out what I'm supposed to say.

I love the Meadowlands...I like their drivers the best
Dh was the same way about betting, so I finally taught him (what I know) and now we've been going every week

we like to beat, sometimes we go to belmont and make a day of it
Oneils is a great bar in Maspeth with a room that has so many horse races at once, its a lot of fun!

I always bet the Derby, Preakness and Belmont.
And every once in a while, I like to go to Potter's Pub or Cavanaughs and watch and bet on races.

I do but not often. I grew up in a household that Belmont was our Father's Day trip. Both my dad & grandpa bet everyday. I actually enjoy watching the horses run!

I don't watch the dogs here, my uncle and cousin owns two dog tracks in Florida, so I usually bet them through simulcasting from a track or otb up here

My parents used to own horses so I grew up between Roosevelt Raceway and the Meadowlands

I worked in saratoga for 5 summers so i went to the track often. i was there for my 21st birthday, and ran into some mobsters who told me who was going to win and i made over $500. i think it's all orchestrated by the mob.

I've been to Belmont a few times and it's fun. I usually go with my mom b/c she loves it. Last time she got so excited when she won, she was jumping up and down. Turned out she only bet $5. But she was thrilled anyway.

I used to go to the Medowlands and bet money in the 3rd race on on the 2nd entry. Otherwise you would find me at the bar.

I still don't know a thing about horse racing but I one $75 once and treated everyone to drinks.

When DH & I go to our house in the Pocono's, for some reason we go to the OTW (like OTB) over there. We have so much fun. We hang out there for an hour or 2 and just bet joking around. We don't bet a lot of money so usually we don't leave a big winner, but it is just something fun to do for an hour that we usually don't do here on LI everyday.
