Does anyone else find baby classes ridiculously expensive?

Chat Icon Chat Icon $140 for 6 sessions of Kindermusik? I'm not even sure if I would have to pay twice for twins-probably so. Any reco's for things that are less expensive?

Totmusic is $180 for 10 classes I think the second child is $100.

Its in the Smithtown, commack area

I agree though classes are very $$, I try to get the most from the library so at least it off sets some of hte expense.

ETA: My SIL has said anything under about $20 a class is good. And she has enrolled her 3 kids in just about everythign at on time or another!Chat Icon

yeah, library classes are the best value! would you do something like Stroller Strides? around here it is $65 (at least mine is at Cedar Creek Park/Broadway Mall) for the month, but you get unlimited classes and there are always playdates after the workout and so much more. I like that I get to workout but DD gets to play! Plus, with twins it isn't a double charge!

library is the best!

we also do storytimes inside bookstores.

really, the best has always been park playdates or meeting up with other moms while we walked.

my library classes did instruments as well.

This is why I don't do any classes like Mommy and Me or anything like that. Too much $$$.

I've been going to all the trial classes that these places have to see which one I like the best and enroll in that one, bc I'm not wasting my money, plust the library and JCC by us have some free and reasonable classes...Chat Icon
