Does anyone else have a baby that grew really fast?
My DS just had a Dr's appt last Wed. He was 17 wks old (about 3-1/2 months). He was 18 lbs 4 oz. The ped said that he is off the charts. I'm curious if anyone else a child like this.
Here's his growth history---
Birth: 7 lb 1 oz
1 wk: 7 lb 2 oz
2 wk: 8 lb 1 oz
6 wk: 11 lb 14 oz
11 wk: 15 lb 5 oz
17 wk: 18 lb 4 oz

DS's growth has been about the same.
My doctor said he is a "healthy, thriving boy".
No worries.

Yes. Steven is 9 months and in 24 month clothes. The good news is that once they start crawling and being more mobile, it does slow down. But now, I notice he got much taller. At his 6 month appointment he was 21 lbs. He goes for his 9 month apt. next week and I'm afraid to see how much he weighs now.

Wow, she's tall too. Daniel is 'only' 24-3/4 inches.

This will probably be us too. I can't believe how fast he's going through clothing sizes. The clothing I received as gifts was all 0-3, 3-6 and a small amount of 6-9. I am already running out of it and just had to buy new clothing for him.

Well Gracelyn is only 7 wks old but getting up there.
born: 7lbs 14 oz. 21 1/2 inches
1 wk: 7lbs. 15 oz.
6 wks: 12lbs 7 oz
7 wks: 13lbs.
She's already in 3-6 month clothes, some anyway

Yep
Birth: 7Lbs 13 oz
1 week: 7Lbs 14oz
2 weeks: 8Lbs 6 oz
4 weeks: 10 Lbs 1oz
6 weeks: 12 Lbs 5.5 oz
His next appt is Saturday. I am sure, he is close to 15 Lbs.
He is on BM only.
He has been wearing 3 months cloth since he is 6 weeks old. They fit just right. He will go into 6 months very quickly.

10 weeks on Friday.
Ped is not worried at all since he is not on formula.
