Does anyone else have a hard time getting motivated to exercise?
I've been sitting here trying to get my butt on the treadmill that I begged DH to drag into my bedroom from the garage. I have about 8 more pounds to lose to get to my prepreggp weight but for some reason, I can't do it. I always seem to find an excuse. I actual have a knot in my stomach when I think about actually getting on that damn machine. Please tell me I'm not the only one...

No your not the only one....
I have a new elliptical sitting in my living room that has dust all over it--lol
I want to use it all the time, but it really is so hard to work out at home, you get distracted very easily! I'd rather go to the gym, I get a better work out.
I'm back to what I weighed before I had Julia, but would like to loose another 10-20 lbs by the summer....

Re: Does anyone else have a hard time getting motivated to exercise?
I hate exercising but I decided to bite the bullet and joined an awesome brand new state of the art gym. I took a spinning class this am and felt invigorated! For me, it is a matter of just doing it and not being so darn lazy. I actually lost my baby weight in very quickly after Molly was born, but since have gained about 5-7pounds and just feel like a big ball of blubber! So I made myself do it today and it really felt good!

Re: Does anyone else have a hard time getting motivated to exercise?
I'm down to my pre-pregnancy weight and so I have NO desire to exercise!
I do need to tone up though. I'd join a gym but I don't think its fair to DDs until they can sit up (to go in the gym daycare) and not have to be in their carriers. I will be better when I can go outside and walk.

Re: Does anyone else have a hard time getting motivated to exercise?
I hate exercising! I still need to lose about 10lbs...none of my clothes fit the same. I would join a gym, but let's face it, I don't get home from work until 6p. By the time I feed DD, go through our bedtime routine, get everything ready for the next day,etc....i'm in NO mood to workout. And since DD is still waking up during the night...going to the gym in the AM is not going to happen.

At first I did but I just kicked my butt in gear and started. After a week it becomes part of your normal routine.

I'm sooo not motivated.
My job has an onsite gym but I'd rather skip lunch/gym and leave early to get my DD.
I still have 15 lbs to lose and plenty to tone!!!

Re: Does anyone else have a hard time getting motivated to exercise?
Oh yes!!! Jordana is almost a year old, and this year was teh first time that I would take a whole month and not go to the gym. Even during my pregnancy I worked out- even AFTER I broke my hand in my 6th month.
But now, I have to wake up early to do it (hard feat in itself). Hopefully she won't wake up (which she usually does) so I can sneak out.
But I need to get my azz in gear. I am just so out of shape. I tried to run yesterday and I couldn't even make a mile.

Re: Does anyone else have a hard time getting motivated to exercise?
I was having a very hard time all winter until I decided that if DS is going to wake me up at 5am talking to himself then I will make the most of it and get up and exercise. It has been working great, hey I'm tired anyway an extra 20-30 min in the morning isn't going to kill me when I'm up listening to him anyway and can't fall back to sleep.
Summer being right around the corner has also been lighting a fire under me. Last summer I was pg so all my "normal" summer clothes are verrrrry small but I am determined to fit into them!!
